Deacon Chris and Jenny Mars have been married since 1990. Chris has been working as a Steamfitter Journeyman since 1987. Chris attended LaSalle University and was ordained a Permanent Deacon at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in June, 2017. Jenny holds an associate’s degree from Bucks County Community College in legal secretarial studies and currently works as the Office Manager at St Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia, PA. Chris and Jenny both have been involved in coaching various sports such as football, baseball, track and cross country. Jenny and Chris have been parishioners at St. David Parish since 1995, where Chris serves as the Parish Deacon and Jenny has been involved in her parish’s adult faith formation and youth group. They have 6 children and live in Willow Grove, PA.
