Deacon Patrick and Diane Kennedy both were born in 1950, raised in large families, and married in March 1973, all in Philadelphia Pa. Together they were gifted with seven children, two of whom died shortly after birth. Today they have five adult children, all married, and nine grandchildren. Throughout their life together, which began immediately with having children, Diane decided to remain working in the home. Conversely, Pat, after being discharged from the US Army serving in Vietnam, began his work career as a truck driver, then a Philadelphia firefighter and later a paramedic, a business owner and ending his work career in 2017 as a senior executive for a Catholic hospital & health System. In 2010 Pat entered Diaconate formation and in 2017 was ordained. Today, besides serving in his home parish, he is assigned to the Archdiocese Office for Life & Family, handling marriage-related matters, assists at the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul, serves as an MC, is a member of the Deacon Council, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Pro-Life Union. Diane and Pat currently reside in Southern New Jersey.
