Let all that you do be done in love
Corinthians 16:14

Through our sacramental bond, we should be striving in leading our spouses to heaven. Marriage can sometimes have its trying and frustrating moments. Throughout all of this, we must not forget that the person we married is our best friend. Husbands, love your wife as Christ loved the church.

This is definitely not the definition of love that our society broadcasts. But it is the kind of love that God showed to us and that He requires us to have toward everyone – including our spouses. Before we can grow in our relationships, we must build our foundation on love in its purest form.

Forming Faithful Families

The world is in grave need of witness of strong and beautiful marriages today. It is desperate for this light. Married couples are called to create a culture that esteems marriage and family. One key element of marriage is raising our children to be faith-filled Catholics who are on fire for their Faith, and subsequently to go on and support and encourage our grandchildren in living out their faith. A married couple's role in nurturing the Catholic Faith continues even after our children have left our home. Learn practices, prayers, and traditions that will aid you in your mission of passing the Catholic Faith onto your children and grandchildren and creating a culture that respects and reverences marriage and family.

What shall I slaughter today, honey?

Every big YES is made up of a thousand little no's. To become the spouse, parent, and disciple God has created us to be and we want to be, many things must die. Some are big, some are small, some are good, some are bad, but they all should meet the same fate - extinction. Our ancient faith through to our contemporary liturgy are replete with the symbolism and language of sacrifice. How can the biblical customs of sacrifice help us identify what needs to die in us so re-created spouses can come to life? Let's be honest, we're all too busy to add anything else into our spiritual lives without subtracting something first. This breakout will provide some Scripture, stories, and strategies, but will also include time for practical brainstorming as couples and individuals.

This is Our Time

Do you believe your marriage matters for you? For God?

Do you believe your marriage matters for your children?

Do you believe your marriage matters for our culture?

The reality is, our time is limited here and we have to make the most of our time together as a married couple. We cannot wait! Marriage is not easy…it’s actually quite difficult at times. This talk will inspire you to focus on the ultimate goal of heaven with practical tips of how to change the world by living an example of a faithful marriage.
